Linc to be closed for construction starting June 5th

The Linc will be closed starting this weekend, one direction at a time, to address deteriorating asphalt surface. The work will include spot repairs to asphalt some sections of shave and pave resurfacing, cleaning of catch basins, pavement marking replacement and some signage repair.

Queen Street two-way conversion construction to start June 8

This article contains information on the Queen Street two-way conversion project starting on June 8.

Hello Ward 8 Neighbours,

As you may or may not be aware, Queen Street will be converting from one-way traffic to two-way traffic. This change is in accordance with the City’s Vision Zero campaign. Work will start on June 8 and is expected to last until November 2020.

As many Ward 8 residents utilize the Beckett St. Hill to access the lower city, the Ward 8 office thought it would share some of the construction highlights, goals, and timelines for this worthwhile project.
