The inaugural meeting of Hamilton’s newly elected City Council will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 6:30 pm at the Hamilton Convention Centre.

Community members are invited to attend the meeting to watch Hamilton’s Mayor and Members of Council be sworn in for the 2022-2026 term. The inauguration is free to attend and will be held at the Convention Centre to allow increased space for community participation.
Seating for community members is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5:45 pm. Accessible seating is available. The meeting will also be broadcast on Cable 14 and posted to the City of Hamilton’s YouTube channel following the event.
