Starting July 2nd, Allison Park – located at 51 Piano Drive in Ward 8, is scheduled to be closed until the August long weekend as its play structure is replaced.

As we reported earlier in April, Allison Park was identified as a park in need of freshening up – its current play structure nearing its end of life cycle.
With community input, designs were put in place for the new structure. Construction for the new structure is slated to begin in mid-July, with an anticipated end date of August 2nd, weather permitting. The park will be closed as of July 2nd.
The Allison Park playground replacement was initiated and will be funded through Ward 8 Area Funds.
