HAMILTON, ON – Today, the City of Hamilton’s Office of the City Auditor is launching a 2022 Municipal Election Administration Survey, a city-wide random telephone survey that will help the City Auditor identify any areas for improvement in the administration of the Municipal Election.

The survey will be administered to eligible voters in the City of Hamilton’s 2022 municipal election. The City has partnered with Metroline Research Group to administer the survey in all wards. Metroline Research Group will call a random sample of eligible voters in Hamilton to complete the survey over the phone. This includes cellphones and landlines. The random telephone survey sample will provide results that are representative of eligible voters in the 2022 Hamilton Municipal Election. Those who receive calls are encouraged to share their feedback.

An eligible municipal voter is a person 18 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen and either a resident or a property owner, including a tenant or spouse, in the City of Hamilton at the time of the 2022 Municipal Election.

The survey takes approximately 10-12 minutes to complete and will be running until mid-April 2023.
