With all municipal facilities closed, including city hall, for the foreseeable future, City Council is taking steps to have virtual meetings during this time. as a means to run the city, while continuing to adhere and respect physical distance rules.

The first council meeting will be taking place on Wednesday, April 8. An agenda can be found here.

With the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, residents who wish to speak as delegates at council will not be able to. Delegations will now be correspondence only, and that correspondence will be distributed to all council members.

Any community members who would like to provide a delegation to a council meeting can do so by emailing their delegation to clerk@hamilton.ca , all delegations are to be addressed to “Mayor Eisenberger and Members of Council”. The deadline for submissions is 12pm on the business day prior to council’s meeting.

You will be able to live stream council via the City’s website or it’s Youtube page.
