Green Venture engages students and the community to live more sustainably and provides gardening and environmental outreach programs that create a greener, healthier community. We are thrilled to be partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hamilton and Dundurn Castle to organize this event. Sponsors for this event include Councillors Nrinder Nann and Sam Merulla, Mohawk Sustainability, City of Hamilton, Humble Bee and Facedrive. This is a Hamilton Winterfest Event.

Want to volunteer? Seedy Saturday needs you! You can help out in the seed swap room to sort and package seeds, welcome guests, provide directions or assist with workshop support. To volunteer or learn more, please email kelly.vanwalleghem@greenventure.ca

So if you’re into gardening, this is a worthwhile event to support your community while finding some great seeds/plants for your garden this spring.
