The Caledon Community Collective as well as the GSP Group Inc. will be hosting an online community meeting on December 1st to present and take questions on their updated development vision for the lands at 60 Caledon Ave.

As we’ve covered in this space before, the lands of the former Mountain Secondary School are scheduled to be converted into much needed family-based residential units.
This work will be done through a collaboration between Victoria Park Community Homes and Hamilton East Kiwanis Non-Profit Homes known as the Caledon Community Collective.
The upcoming session will be an online session to provide information and receive community input related to the updated development vision for the site.
Below are the details for the Webinar:
DATE: Wednesday, December 1st 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
FORMAT: a project team presentation of the development revisions followed by
online questions and answers.
DEVELOPMENT VISION: A medium density mixed use affordable housing
redevelopment including 2 to 3-storey back-to-back townhouses, two 6 storey
apartment buildings and access to a large amenity area fronting Caledon Avenue. A total of 266 dwelling units are proposed with 237 parking spaces exceeding the City’s minimum parking requirements.
