A letter has been sent to area residents about an upcoming neighbourhood meeting hosted by Councillor Danko and Ward 7 Councillor Pauls regarding the zoning by-law amendment application at 1494 Upper Wellington taking place on October 28th.

The purpose of the Councillors’ Neighbourhood Meeting is to provide an update on the changes to the proposed development at 1494 Upper Wellington Street since the application was deemed complete.
The meeting is also an opportunity for the public to ask questions about the proposal. The area circled in red identifies the subject lands on the image shown below:

The most recent proposal calls for a 12 storey multiple dwelling with building stepbacks towards the low density residential to the rear. The proposal includes 656 parking spaces and a total of 641 units. The current unit breakdown includes 45 % one bedroom units, 40% two bedroom units and 15% three bedroom units.
Meeting Location
The meeting will be located at Sackville Hill Seniors Recreation Centre from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Bella Brearley Lounge.
