Rapid Transit, Elimination of Area Rating Can Help Improve Mountain HSR Service

Hello Ward 8 Neighbours,

On January 24, HSR Director Debbie Dalle Vedove gave council an update on plans for bus service improvement this year, as well as the results from the HSR’s most recent citizen survey, “Re-envision”.

Dalle Vedove shared with City Council that “frequent, reliable service” was the overwhelming improvement needed for Hamiltonians to make transit their first option when it comes to transportation.

Temporary Road Closure coming to Stone Church Road West

Upgrades to the current pumping station at the Garth Street/Stone Church Road Reservoir will be taking place starting February 3rd until the end of April. During this time, westbound traffic on Stone Church Road West (near Garth Street) will be impacted.
