Councillor John-Paul Danko is inviting feedback from community members regarding the proposed development of the lands at 1494 Upper Wellington. The meeting will take place February 9th at the Westmount Recreation Centre at 7pm.

A Zoning By-law Amendment Application is being proposed for the redevelopment of the lands municipally addressed as 1494 Upper Wellington Street.
The Urban Hamilton Official Plan designates the lands as ‘Neighbourhoods’ which permits multiple residential uses, including apartment buildings. The lands are currently zoned ‘Agricultural (AA)’ and are proposed to be rezoned with site-specific regulations to permit the proposed use. The proposal
includes two residential buildings, with structured parking integrated into a podium, and amenity space.
The upcoming meeting with Councillor Danko will take place in the upstairs boardroom at the Westmount Recreation Centre. It will start at 7pm.
