Hello Ward 8 Neighbours,
For more details, please continue reading below…
Hamilton Sparta is the oldest soccer club in the city and has established a reputation for excellence throughout Ontario and beyond.
The arrangement made with Hamilton Sparta will see them as the primary user group of both soccer fields at William Connell Park. While Sparta will not be the exclusive soccer tenants at the park, they will have access to the fields 3-4 nights a week. This will allow them to host the majority of their programming in one spot, moving them away from a piecemeal of field allocations, and creating a home base for the club.
The appointment of a home field at William Connell will allow Hamilton Sparta to better service the players and their families, many of which reside in Ward 8.
