As we focus as a community on road safety, there is still a shortage of crossing guards at many key locations across Ward 8. Keeping our students safe is essential, and you can help.

There are five key locations in Ward 8 that are still without a crossing guard:
Southbend Road and West 5th, serving Westview and Buchanan Park students
Elgar Avenue and Limeridge Road West, a busy intersection serving Annunciation of Our Lord, Westwood and Westview students
Chester Street and West 5th Street, serving James MacDonald students
Lynbrook Drive and Montcalm Avenue, serving Westwood and Westview students
Hester Street at Greeningdon Drive, serving Ridgemount Elementary and St. Michael Catholic Elementary School students
