The Westmount Recreation Centre is celebrating ten years in operation with family-friendly activities taking place this week.

To commemorate its tenth year since opening, Westmount Recreation Centre is hosting a week of family-friendly activities from January 16-20, 2023, with a grand anniversary celebration event this Saturday, January 21, 2023.
Activities this week include a beach-themed water fit class, a free open swim, a parent-tot Disney/Marvel-themed gym program and more. The full schedule of events and activities is available at www.hamilton.ca/Recreation.
The grand anniversary celebration event will take place this Saturday January 21 from 10am to 4pm. This free event will have giveaways and light refreshments for families, and giveaways will be available. Players from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be there from 2-4pm at an open gym session as well as the Mounted Patrol Unit and Members of the Hamilton Fire Department. If that isn’t enough excitement, Councillor Danko will also be there on Saturday with swag to give away as well.
