City looking for input on the reimagining of public participation.

This post, from February 26, has information on the City of Hamilton seeking feedback on City-led public engagement

Hello Ward 8 Neighbours,

The City of Hamilton is looking for your opinions, thoughts and experiences when it comes to City-led public engagement, especially during the last two years as the City has shifted the way it engages with its residents.

For more details, please continue reading below…

COVID-19 has changed the way the City engages with the community, but it has not changed how important your feedback is to the decision-making process. Over the past two years, the City has shifted engagement efforts online with virtual public meetings, live streamed events and digital tools to help residents have their voices heard and to stay informed on a variety of topics, initiatives and projects.

With that said, the City is inviting residents to take a short survey to tell them your thoughts and experiences with City-led public engagement during the last few years. Feedback will be used in the development of a corporate framework and policy to help shape City-led engagement moving forward.

Print copies of the survey are also available at local Municipal Service Centres, City Recreation Centres and Hamilton Public Library branches.
