Hello Ward 8 Neighbours,
Seedy Saturday, an annual pre-spring event hosted by Green Venture, will continue to share their knowledge with local gardeners in addition to helping them stuck up on local and heirloom seeds and supplies virtually this year.
For more details, please continue reading below…
Get a jump start on gardening at Seedy Saturday this February. Green Venture will be hosting free educational workshops, a massive free seed swap mail out and offer a one stop shop local gardening website.
According to Green Venture, last year over 800 gardeners attended Seedy Saturday to swap seeds, learn and share gardening know-how and stock up on local and heirloom seeds and supplies.
This year, join them online and help break that record! Seedy Saturday has something for everyone, whether you are a new ‘Covid gardener’ or a seasoned grower. So bring your green thumbs, Covid gardening triumphs, or new garden questions, as Green Venture welcomes all to learn, swap, share and build the grow-it-yourself gardening community in Hamilton!
