Major redevelopment proposed for St. Elizabeth’s Village

This article, from August 22, contains information about a planned residential development, including retail space, at the Village of St. Elizabeth Mills on Rymal Road West.

Hello Ward 8 Neighbours,

A comprehensive master-plan has been put forward by Zest Communities, who have been the owners of the former St. Elizabeth’s Village, now known as the Village of St. Elizabeth Mills, since 2014.

The major redevelopment at the 393 Rymal Road West community, for ages 55 and up, will bring with it a host of new residential units and retail space to the southwestern Mountain.

For more details, please continue reading below…

Recently, the managing company of the Village of St. Elizabeth Mills made a formal submission of an application for Draft Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment, and Zoning By-law Amendment, in support of their comprehensive master-planned community at St. Elizabeth, which includes:

• 1,483 new residential units
• 47,911 sq. ft of new retail space
• Detailed re-grading and improvements to the 17-stormwater ponds on site
