New Stair Railings To Improve Rolston Community Forest Access

New railings will be installed to improve access to the Captain Cornelius Community Forest thanks to collaboration with Ward 8 & 14 HWDSB Trustee Becky Buck.

This summer new railings will be installed to improve the accessibility of the concrete steps connecting Rolston Drive to the Rolston Community Forest and Captain Cornelius Park adjacent to Westview Elementary School.

Ridgemount Play Structure Public Engagement Session March 5th

On February 6 we updated you about some big changes are coming to the Greeningdon neighbourhood. A brand new play structure will be returning to Ridgemount Elementary, which hasn’t had a structure since it was removed when the school expanded a few years ago.

The City of Hamilton has announced a Ridgemount Play Structure Replacement engagement session, which is set for March 5 (4pm-7pm) at Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena.

Canada’s Largest High School Robotics Competition

On April 6 – 7, 2019 in Hamilton, Ontario. McMaster University hosted one of Canada’s premier science, technology and engineering competitions for high school students. More than 1,000 students, volunteers, parents and sponsors came to campus for the FIRST Robotics Canada District Competition. The competition for high school students pitted the incredible young minds in a qualifying match to design and build robots to solve a problem.
