Hamilton council approves new city budget

City Council reduced and approved the City’s 2024 budget that will see a 5.8 per cent residential property tax increase, or about $286 more per household compared to last year – less than the 7.9% anticipated increase porposed at previous Council meetings.

$86.7 Million In City Infrastructure Work Scheduled for Ward 8 Within 6 Years

Within the next six years, more than $86.7 million dollars is allocated to repair, replace, upgrade and build new City infrastructure throughout Ward 8. The planned work includes major road repairs, upgrades to neighbourhood roads and sidewalks, community assets, parks and recreation.

Community Safety Police Budget Public Meeting

City Council adopts 2021 tax supported operating budget

Council Aims to Reduce 2021 Tax Projections
