Police are one of the core services funded by municipal taxes. In recent years there have been strong opinions about the role of community policing and funding for the police budget.

New Ward 8 Mountain Crime Manager

After many years of service to Hamilton mountain residents, Sgt. Knapp will be leaving the Crime Manager‘s office to pursue new opportunities.

Although we are saddened to lose Sgt. Knapp, we are excited to welcome Cst. Woodard to the Ward 8 community here on Hamilton Mountain.
